St Joseph Donation Table There will be a table under the St. Joseph banner by the hymn board in the church for non-perishable donations beginning this weekend through March 19. Non-perishable items will be donated to local families in need in honor of St Joseph. We would like as many nonperishables as possible donated that weekend in honor of our patron saint and his special day. Thank you for your generosity.

Rite of Election Three members of our parish will be traveling to Tallahassee on February 25. They will join with others from around the diocese to participate in the Rite of Election Ceremony and the Call to Continuing Conversion where they will be recognized by Bishop Wack. Our RCIA program is proud to send Fr. Mathew with Victor, Maximus and Paloma Burgos-Harris along with their godparents, Barbara Eells and Tom & Betty Curry as they continue their conversion into the catholic faith with their initiation at the Easter Vigil. Please keep them in your prayers.

Second Collection Next week, our parish will take up The Catholic Relief Services Collection. Funds from this collection provide food to the hungry, support displaced refugees, and bring Christ's love and mercy to vulnerable people here and abroad. Next week, please give generously to the collection and reveal Christ's love to those most in need.

Can We Help? If you or someone you know needs help with meals, a visit, or anything else, let us help! Contact the church office.

Communion to the Homebound Sacraments are available to all Catholics who would like to receive, but are unable to attend Sunday Mass due to injury, illness or advanced age. If you are in need of a visit, please call the office and request Communion at home, in the hospital, nursing home, or assisted living facility.

Rosary Please take time and join us as we say the Rosary every Tuesday at 11:00. The group Rosary is powerful and the benefits are endless. Let the simple and repeated prayers of the Rosary allow us to really focus on what Jesus did and said as we receive peace of mind, an increased love for Jesus, unity with our church and understand better the will of God in our lives. There is no better time than during Lent to embrace these mysteries and, with Mary's help, let them transform our lives.

Church Members If you are new to our church, we are delighted that you have chosen to become a member of our parish family. Please register in the parish office in our hall or call 850-227-1417.

Food Donations Don't forget our food basket at the entrance of the church which is open daily. It is there all year for dropping off nonperishables. If you're visiting the area, and have nonperishables that you didn't use, consider donating them before you make your trip back home. Thank you for thinking of those in need.  No open parcels please!

Altar Flowers If you would like to donate altar flowers for a special occasion or in memory of a loved one, please contact the office at least 2 weeks in advance. Call: 850-227-1417

Gospel Reflection

Third Sunday of Lent

He made a whip out of cords and drove them all out of the temple area, with the sheep and oxen, and spilled the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables, and to those who sold doves he said, “Take these out of here, and stop making my Father’s house a marketplace.” - John 2:15–16

Reflect, today, upon this twofold cleansing of the Temple in Jerusalem by our Lord and apply Jesus’ sacred actions today to your own soul. Are there new sins that you have fallen into recently that require a gentle rebuke from our Lord? Are there sins that Jesus has been revealing to you for years now that you obstinately persist in? Allow Him to rebuke you in love and to cleanse you so that His saving Sacrifice as the Lamb of God will indeed purify you, and allow His judgment and wrath to “passover” you this Lent.

My cleansing Lord, You cleansed the Temple of Jerusalem not once, but twice. Your zeal for its purity of worship was clear. Please come and make my soul Your dwelling place today and cleanse me of all sin. Please help me to especially see any ways that I have remained obstinate in my sin, and please cleanse those sins with much vigor. Jesus, I trust in You.
