St. Joseph Parish Annual Spaghetti Dinner

10th Annual Spaghetti Dinner

A wonderful spaghetti dinner with Ron Kelly’s famous sauces, a great tossed salad, rolls, and a delicious dessert. Tony Minichiello (can't get more Italian than that) will be entertaining with his accordion. A donation-only bar will be open and serve Italian beer and wine, as well as American choices. Gluten-free and take-outs will be available.

We fed 140 adults and 7 children this year, and a good time was had by all. $114 was raised in the 50/50 drawing and will be donated to the Marfan Foundation in memory or Ann Jarosz.

And, yes, as promised, a good time was had by all. The dinner was excellent and the portions generous, with seconds available. (I especially enjoyed two helpings of the Spumoni ice cream, same as last year.) The featured entertainer Tony Minichiello played a great part in setting the mood with his music. Several door prizes were given away, and there was a 50/50 drawing. The volunteers were helpful and friendly, making it feel like a giant family gathering. The hall was crowded, and I noticed many additional folks coming in to take advantage of the take-out. Thanks to everyone who put this together. I had a great time and look forward to next year's dinner.

A special thank you to all those Men's Club, Alter Society members. Ron Kelly did a superb job on the spaghetti and the sauce.and other volunteers who helped make this year's Spaghetti Dinner a huge success.
